Forget the lakes and reserviors, when warm weather arrives, the place to be for an angling adventure is on the Conasauga River!
To some of us, nothing beats floating down a small river in an old canoe, stopping occasionally to prospect the many grassbeds, pools, and shoals, with a fishing rod.
Around noon, we enjoy a lite lunch in the shade of towering hardwoods, at the river's edge, then later, to fend off the afternoon heat, we can't resist taking a cool dip in a shaded pool. |
